We have fantastic news for you all! Later this year, we will be receiving the greatest gift of all, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. This will be the first LEGO Star Wars game that will ship with all nine films featured in a buildable, playable fashion. We will be seeing the classic adventures along with some new ones.
We here at Culture Slate were privileged to get a sneak peek last year at E3 2019. We were able to see a lot of screenshots and a short demo presentation where they showed us Tatooine from Episode IV: A New Hope. What is really cool about this new game is the graphics. We have provided some screencaps from the game below for you to check out!
One thing we were told by the developers behind the game is that they took Lego bricks, threw them into a bucket of sand, photographed them, and then they took those pictures and animated them. In other words, there are real-world physics and graphics integrated into this game. Taking real-life Lego bricks, placing them in sand, observing the way they look, and then replicating the same look into a video game is amazing and brings a brand new level of immersion.
Here are some shots from the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. These pictures look amazing!
